In private OT MH practices, OTs must be deemed clinically experienced and extensively training in psychological interventions and endorsed to Medicare by OT Australia (national association). Our team is Focused on Mood Management & Mindfulness.

Kaleah Hambrook
Mrs Kaleah Hambrook, a senior Occupational Therapist who can provide services under the Federal Better Access program for mental health. Mrs Hambrook has extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), cognitive rescripting, interpersonal therapy and functional approaches including occupational engagement and balancing and mood management (including anger and anxiety management). She has over 15 years clinical experience and has also been a sessional academic staff member for Edith Cowan University and worked in organisational culture and training roles. Mrs Hambrook is passionate about the impact of youth and parental mental health dynamics and working within family systems.

Sophia Alderton
Sophia Joined Sage in February, after graduating from Edith Cowan University in early 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Since completing her degree, she has worked within the disability sector, supporting clients of varying ages and diagnoses (i.e. ASD, Intellectual Disability, Sensory Processing Disorder, anxiety and depression, emotional regulation difficulties and more) to build their capacity for independence in areas of their life that are most meaningful to them. Her experiences so far have lead her to identify special professional interests in mental health and healthy relationships.
Sophia is passionate about her role as an Occupational Therapist and the opportunity to be a “guide on the side” as she works together with her clients towards their personal goals. Sophia utilise a holistic approach to counselling and wellness, believing that there’s no “one size fits all” approach and in the importance of attending to the many factors that affect our overall sense of wellbeing.
